Majyk Leather Jump Boots, made by Majyk Equipe, are beautifully crafted from first pick Argentine leather. These vegetable tanned leather jump boots feature two layers of protection for the tendons and fetlocks. First, Majyk makes them with genuine Argentina sourced leather and no artificial fillers

Genuine Leather from Argentina
Providing the outside protection for the Majyk leather jump boots is high-quality vegetable tanned leather. This being a naturally efficient protection against impacts. These jump boots use leather 100% sourced from Argentine cows where Majyk has first pick of the tannery’s leather.
Removable Bio-Foam Liner
The final layer of protection for the leather jump boots is an eco-friendly bio-foam liner. This breathable foam is not made of neoprene so it won’t heat up and trap excessive amounts of heat. The design of the proprietary material diffuses impact energy away from the strike area. The bio-foam is also very soft to the touch so it prevents chafing and rubs. To remove the liner, just peel it from the US made Velcro backing that is inside the boot.
Cleaning and Care
The Majyk leather jump boots are genuine leather. Therefore, this type of jump boot material requires care. The manufacturers recommend cleaning your boots after every use, just as you would the rest of your tack. We suggest using Amerigo Leather Cleaner. Cleaning the removable liners is easy. First just remove from Velcro backing and then soak in soapy water. Rinse well and leave out to dry. Don’t machine wash or machine dry.

Back on Track Turnout Sheet
Back on Track Turnout Sheet is equivalent to a 200 weight winter blanket for horses. This is a rough rating though due to the use of Back on Track’s Welltex fabric, a ceramic infused polypropylene blend that insulates beyond typical blanket fill. The waterproof outer shell is made of 1680 denier, a popular material for turnout blankets (dubbed “ballistic nylon” for its use in WW2 pilot flack jackets). The denier makes the Back on Track turnout sheet extremely durable as a turnout blanket for horses – keeping them dry and warm. Securing the blanket to the horse are a tail flap, adjustable cross belly surcingles, and elastic leg ties. Tail flap adds additional warmth + waterproofing, sending water away from the horse’s body. Walking split design allows greater freedom of motion for the shoulder than many other turnout blankets.
Turnout sheet/turnout blanket
Approximate 200 weight (warmth rating)
Waterproof, rip-resistant 1680 denier outer layer
Tail flap keeps channels water away from horses body
Adjustable belly surcingles and elastic leg ties, two front (chest) adjustable clips
Add additional warmth to the Back on Track turnout sheet with the BOT fleece cooler.
Washing Instructions
The Back on Track Turnout sheet is machine washable up to 86 degrees (30 degrees Celsius). Use regular detergent (nothing special required) as long as it doesn’t contain bleach or fabric softeners – don’t use those separately, either. Also, do not dry in a dryer, air dry only.
Sizing Guarantee
Overall, the sizing of the Back on Track turnout blanket follows the standard sizing for blankets – if your horse wears a 78″, they will likely wear a 78″ BOT turnout. If you receive your blanket and it’s not perfect, Four Star Eventing Gear does complementary size exchanges. Simply reply to your order confirmation email with the size you need and we’ll take care of you!

Back on Track Cooler
Back on Track Cooler doubles as a base layer for your winter blanket or a regular cooler for before and after workouts. High quality fleece layer helps dry your horse after a workout + Welltex fabric, infused with ceramic powder makes this cooler super warm and therapeutic. Welltex fabric reflects your horse’s natural body heat, creating a soothing far infrared thermal warmth. Cooler features two chest buckles, two belly surcingles + a tail flap.
Works as a winter blanket liner or cooler
Fleece + Welltex, ceramic infused fabric
Great for injury prevention, recovery
Reflects horse’s natural body heat, creates soothing warmth without heating pads
Shavings don’t stick to it like they do to most fleece horse blankets
Suggested Uses
The Back on Track cooler can be used for multiple purposes. It fits well under the Back on Track turnout blanket, adding an additional layer of thermal protection against the coldest nights. At shows, it helps to keep shavings off while pre-heating muscles – adding a horse neck cover for protecting braids creates the perfect overnight, pre-dressage setup. The velour-like outer layer is slick, allowing easy shavings removal (unlike some other coolers that seemingly attract shavings like a magnet).
For helping with muscle soreness and aches after a tough workout / between phases, leave the Back on Track fleece rug on overnight. This goes for long term care as well, the Back on Track fleece can reduce recovery times when used regularly.

Back on Track Neck Cover
Back on Track (BOT) Neck Cover can be used by itself or easily attaches to the Back on Track mesh sheet to provide your horse with soothing infrared thermal heat. It is constructed of breathable mesh and the Welltex, ceramic powder-infused fabric. Suggested use is with mesh sheet only. Therefore, it is not suggested to be used in conjunction with other Back on Track blankets.
Based on our rider’s feedback, we suggest using the Back on Track neck cover about three hours before a workout. The time spent with the neck cover on will increase circulation in your horse’s neck, reducing stiffness and soreness from the previous day’s workout. Great idea is to put it on a few hours before each phase – especially dressage 🙂 You can also leave it on overnight after the horse has used it a few times.
Sizing your Back on Track Neck Cover
The neck cover sizes correspond with blanket sizes. If your horse is wearing a size 78 inch (145cm) Back on Track mesh sheet, the neck cover you order should be a 78 inch. Of course, if your horse has a super long neck, get a size up, a short neck should get a size down. This chart below will help you make a better informed decision:
As with the BOT blankets, we offer complementary exchanges so rest assured, if your BOT neck cover doesn’t fit, we will work with you to exchange it for a size that fits.
Washing Instructions
The neck cover is machine washable up to 86 degrees (30 degrees celsius). Use regular detergent (nothing special required) without bleach or fabric softeners; do not use it separately either. Do not dry in a dryer, air dry only.
Wool quarter sheet with custom colors and materials made in the USA. Available as a wool riding blanket or wool exercise rug. Quarter sheets are designed to warm up your horses back and hind quarters before / during a ride in cold weather. An exercise rug fits under your saddle like a saddle pad while a riding blanket has a hole cut it it for the saddle, allowing you to remove the quarter sheet after your horse has warmed up. The wool used for these wool quarter sheets is 23 oz, 85/15 blend by Woolrich, a family owned US company that’s been making wool products since 1830. Wool blends are breathable and wick moisture away to keep your horse’s hindquarters dry.
Loosen up stiff muscles, warm up in cool temperatures while preventing injury
Protect horse’s muscles during a slow cooldown
Customize the colors, made in the USA
Available as a wool riding blanket or exercise rug (explanations below)
Wool blend, 23 oz 85/15 by Woolrich, a high end wool manufacturing company
This model of wool quarter sheet has the saddle cut out so you can remove the quarter sheet after your warmup then replace it for cool down. The front of the wool riding blanket has hook / loop front closures for security that is easy to remove. Euro cut leg area is stylish and reduces bulk under your leg during warmup / cooldown. Tail cord keeps blanket from riding up.
Saddle cut out allows on / off during ride without tack removal
Keeps riders thighs warm… very important
Easy removal after warmup, easy to put back on for cooldown
Hook / loop closures for secure fit that’s easy to remove while mounted
Euro cut leg for style, less restriction to lower leg & keeps dirty boots off blanket!
About the Wool Exercise Rug (Pictured Below)
Exercise rugs fit under the saddle just like a saddle pad. The rectangular piece of wool continues out under the saddle and along your horse’s back, draping over the hind quarters. This additional material helps warm up your horse and keep him warm during a hack. It’s not intended to be used for a full workout. Keeping the rug on will result in very warm, likely uncomfortable beast. Taking the rug off mid-lesson or mid-ride is more involved than the riding blanket. You will have to dismount, remove your tack and the blanket then re tack your horse. This model won’t cover the rider’s legs, either.
Solid piece of wool (no cut out for saddle)
Will not cover rider’s thighs
Not easy to remove during ride – it fits under the saddle like a pad
Great for a light hack that won’t get the horse too hot

Merino sheepskin provides moisture and energy dissipation

Custom Order Timeline / Current Stock
We stock the Mattes sheepskin half pad in two color combinations: black and white. Both quilt colors include matching binding (black gets black binding and white gets white binding). Both colors feature natural sheepskin that might come to you a bit yellow but can easily be bleached IN THE SUN just by leaving it out for a few hours. We don’t suggest using actual bleach as some of the chemicals will remain on the pad and come off on your horse’s back. We stock pads in Medium and Large sizes. Small and XL half pads are available by special order.
You can custom order any quilt color with any binding in any size including small and XL. Custom orders take 6-10 weeks to get built + the time it takes to deliver. Shipping within the US is complimentary on all Mattes sheepskin half pads even if it’s a custom order.

Mattes EuroFit saddle pad with sheepskin panels and bare flaps is fully customizable. The bare flap design minimizes material under the rider’s leg (closer contact between your leg and your horse). Top quality sheepskin panels offers your horse’s back Merino sheepskin protection directly under the panels of the saddle. The unlined flaps are quilted with a Poly-Flex layer that doesn’t add bulk but does add energy absorption properties and reduces bounce / flapping. Like all Mattes saddle pads, the colors of the pad are customizable to fit your eventing or barn colors.
Minimized material under leg allows closer contact
EuroFit reduces material, conforming to your All Purpose, Jumper or Dressage Saddle
Merino sheepskin panels provide moisture and dissipation of impacts
Flaps bare of sheepskin and quilted with a thin layer of Poly-Flex, a material that absorbs energy and prevents flaps from folding up or flying around
Lots of sizes, lots of colors – totally custom sheepskin saddle pad!
The Difference Between the All Purpose and Jump Pad
The Mattes Eurofit Saddle Pad comes in three different cuts: All purpose, jumper and dressage. The EuroFit dressage pad is easily identifiable but the all purpose and jumper cut can look similar. The main difference is the length of the flap. The Mattes EuroFit all purpose pad has a longer flap than the Mattes Eurofit jumper pad. For specific measurements, see our post on Getting the right sized Mattes pad.

What’s with the Rear Trim on the Mattes Eurofit saddle pad?
It’s for looks. Rear trim is a customization that costs $15 more. It can be added on to any pad – All purpose, dressage or jumper. All Mattes EuroFit saddle pads with rear trim are available but will take an additional 8 weeks to deliver.
What’s with the Sheepskin Panels?
This is actually useful and it’s not for looks! Sheepskin panels sit directly on your horse’s back, under the saddle’s panels. They offer a moisture wicking, impact dampening layer of protection that can eliminate the need for a half pad. All three Mattes eurofit saddle pad types come with or without sheepskin panels. Contact us if you would like to order one of these less expensive, no panel pads. Typically, people order the pads without panels if they plan on using a half pad to help with saddle fit.
