It’s replacing our Five Star Tack signature breastplate only because Five Star is no longer in production. This breastplate attaches in 3 locations… 3 point breastplate… 2 of those connections are made to your saddle’s D-Rings. D rings very in quality from saddle to saddle. Some are actually secured using nothing more then the leather to hold them while others are actually connected to the tree & are replaceable if damaged. Determine your cost of replacing these pieces of saddle furniture then consider the cost of these inexpensive D ring savers. They connect to the stirrup bars of your saddle – which are pretty much always more solid then the D rings.

Fitting Your Christ Contour Girth / Dressage Girth
For the best fit possible, it is important that you know that there is no elastic in this girth. We call this a “dressage girth” because it requires a saddle with long billets – that’s not technically just a dressage saddle – it’s any saddle with long billets including some cross country and SJ saddles. Keep the length of your billets in mind when ordering your new Lammfelle contour girth. If you are between sizes, try a girth extender as a possible solution.

About the Baucher Bit AKA Hanging Cheek Snaffle
These baucher bits are one of the more argued about bits out there. Does a baucher bit apply poll pressure? Is a baucher bit a leverage bit?
No, the mechanics of the bit do not allow for poll pressure in any significant amount, you could say mild poll pressure if anything. The primary reasoning behind this is that you would need rotation of the bit. In real life, these bits do not rotate. Compare the rotation of a baucher / hanging cheek snaffle to that of the bevel bit and you will be convinced.
Also no, there is no leverage. There is no extension below the pivot. Don’t believe us, checkout the 3 ring LEVERAGE bit and compare it.

When correctly installed on the bridle, the small ring (top) are attached to the bridle cheek pieces. The larger ring (bottom) is where your reins connect.
Similar to a full cheek, the fixed cheek pieces of the hanging cheek snaffle prevent the bit from sliding through the mouth. Similar to an eggbutt, the baucher is stable and provides a calmness that cannot be found when using a loose ring snaffle.
Different Mouth Pieces
Lozenge: A lozenge is an oval shape, often preferred over a flat French link. The oval Lozenge is sometimes more accepted by the horse because there are no thin edges that could be uncomfortable.

The manufacturing process behind the Burlingham Sports Perfect Pole with stripes eliminates the issues associated with painting equestrian jump poles. These include factors such as chipping and peeling. These make the poles last WAY longer. They will not warp like regular wooden poles, or fade like paint, they won’t rot like wooden poles, or break as easily (well wood doesn’t break THAT easy but they do break) as wooden poles, they are far heavier than PVC poles and even slightly heavier than most standard wooden poles, all in all, these are the ultimate jump pole for any arena.
Western Style Sheepskin Bareback Pad
Western style sheepskin bareback pad made by Christ Lammfelle of Germany. This is the most over-engineered Western bareback pads in the world. Comfy sheepskin on top for you and plush sheepskin on the bottom for your horse.
These pads fit most horses from 15 hands to 17 hands and most riders. Easy to wash using a wool-safe detergent like MELP. Pony size bareback pads available by special order (won’t cost more, will take 5-8 weeks for delivery).

Caring for your Christ Lammfelle Bareback Pad
Care is pretty simple. You can toss the entire bareback pad in the washer on the wool cycle. Be sure to remove the shims first and always use a wool safe detergent like MELP.

Sold in pairs (2) and comes equipped with pin holes for jump cups with pins. They’re manufactured with a recessed area running up the inside of one side to equip the standard with a metal keyhole track. Metal keyhole tracks are used for pinless jump cups. Metal keyhole tracks can be added to these standards for a small fee, just click the option on this product page.
No more guessing at the jump height! Each standard has built in height markers, clearly indicating the current height. Super useful for getting the jumps even as well. Minimum jump height is about a foot while these standards for ponies max out at 3 foot six inches (45 inches).

In exchange for saving you money, please allow at least 2 weeks to get them built. “Free” shipping utilizes freight services that take some time. Please allow an additional week for delivery. 2 weeks of manufacturing + 1 week of shipping = expect three weeks. If the timeline is in excess of 3 weeks, we’ll let you know. This allows riders to choose everything about their stirrup placement. Whether you like your stirrups closer to your body, or farther away, by lifting the catch and sliding the bar, you can create a riding position to suit your individual needs. To lock it in, you press down firmly on the catch.

The external FlexiContourbloc anatomically shapes to your legs. It can be moved forward and backward to create an angle that provides you with maximum security and comfort.
CAIR Cushion System
This unique advancement replaces the usual fillings in your saddle with air. This system has been around since 2000 and saddles with this technology can be used on numerous horses as the panels do not have a residual memory and mold to whatever it is put on every time. Pretty much, it eliminates residual weight from the standard pressure points on your horses back and evenly distributes it. When the horse moves, the panels fluidly adjust to keep the equilibrium.

- The gullet system allows you to change the width of the tree in your saddle. With ten different sizes, the Bates Advanta Eventing Saddle is a great investment and it can grow with you (or shrink) over time. You can buy either the complete set (with five gullet sizes from narrow to wide) or the Wide system (which includes four gullet sizes from extra wide to 4x wide).
- The riser system allows you to customize the saddle panel for your optimal clearance and balance. The risers fit in a velcro pocket in between the tree and the cushion panel and for up to 16mm of lift. This system is convenient, quick, and reversible. There is the Standard pack (4 front risers, 2 center risers, and 4 rear risers) and the Standard Starter pack (2 front, center, and rear risers).
