Product Description
Vacs Standing Wraps with Velcro (Set of 4)
Vacs standing wraps are sewn with a strong poly thread and Vacs exclusive stitching that ensures best in class durability. Extra wide hook & loop fasteners (Velcro is the name brand, Vac’s uses a different brand that ensure a strong hold). These standing wraps hold up well to regular use either at home when used as a standing wrap in the stall or on the road as part of a shipping wrap. The velcro lasts for several hundred uses especially if you don’t roll the wrap with the velcro connected.

Elements of a Successfully Applied Standing Wrap
Generally, eventers know how to wrap their horses… and groom them as well. Here are some things to keep in mind when using Vacs Standing Wraps and other Vacs bandages:
- Wrap from the inside of your horse’s leg to the outside, and from front to back
- Start the bandage in the middle, wrap down first, and then back up and finish at the top or middle if you can’t make it
- Overlap generously to ensure that the bandage stays in place (actual overlap depends on your horse, length of wrap)
- Pull tight across the front, just be firm around the back
- Don’t apply extra pressure as you go around the tendon in the back (always be consistent)
- Make sure your pillow wraps and standing wraps are smooth and unwrinkled and never twist (re-wrap correctly)
- Do not leave on for longer than 24Â hours without removing and re-wrapping
- Perfect practice makes perfect – refer to your USPC manual(s) for further details 🙂
