Titan Trio Turnout Blanket with Detachable Neck Cover

Titan trio turnout blanket with detachable neck cover is the ultimate, customizable turnout system consisting of one 100g, ballistic nylon outer shell, an insulated and detachable neck cover and three variable weight liners that connect perfectly to the outer shell. The waterproof outer shell is made of 1680 denier ballistic nylon with a 100g thermo bonded filling (super lightweight). The first layer to choose from is a 100g liner with highly breathable thermo bonded fill and fleece lined wither pad. Together, the outer shell and 100g liner equals 200g in insulation. Need more insulation? Swap the 100g liner with the included 200g liner for a total of 300g of insulation (100g shell and 200g liner). Middle of winter with a clipped horse? No issue with the included 350g liner. Combined with the liner, the max insulation for this system is 450g of  layered insulation!

About the Outer Shell System

The Titan Trio shell is built of 1680 denier and features 100 grams of thermo bonded fill insulation. The shell can be used on its own or with liners. This waterproof, insulated system allows maximum breathability that helps your horse regulate their body temperature. Closures are made of high quality double locking velcro and quick release chest clips. This shell is so feature rich we will just bullet point them:

Denier is a unit of measurement used to determine the fiber thickness of individual threads. A human hair is about 20 denier. 1680 denier is considered “ballistic” because the military originally created it to be protective against fragmentation weapons like grenades and other flying debris or shrapnel. It gives a new meaning to the term, “bomb proof”!

About the Removable Neck Cover

The included, removable neck cover for the horse blanket  features 100g insulation and can be upgraded to 200g. The cover is attached to the shell using double locking Velcro. Made of the same material as the shell, the ballistic nylon is waterproof and super durable. The neck and the shell are multi-use for the barn or the field.

About the Rug Liners

The system includes three liners: 100g, 200g and 350g of insulation. Liners easily attach to shell using double velcro fasteners. Each liner is made from 210D antibacterial breathable polyester with antistatic properties. The variable fills are all highly breathable thermo bonded insulation. Each liner has a fleece lined wither pad.

Easy Care with Nikwax

All components of the Titan (the shell, the neck cover and the three included liners) are machine washable. We suggest using Nikwax Rug Proof for the shell and neck and Nikwax rug wash for the liners. Specific instructions for wash and dry included with package.
