Product Description
Saddle D Ring Saver
Saddle D Ring Saver hooks onto your saddles stirrup bars to serve as either a replacement dee ring or provide an alternative way to connect your breast plate or training aids. This replacement d ring can take the abuse while your saddle’s built-in d ring can remain intact.
- High-quality leather with low profile design, you won’t feel it under the flap
- Sturdy nylon cord connects to stirrup bars without scratching them
- Polished brass to connect your breastplate or training aides
- Actual product may vary slightly from images – we receive these from an Amish company and a  couple different distribution companies so they’re always slightly different but always great quality
Can You Buy Replacement D-Rings For Saddles?
Sure, you can replace the stock D-ring that comes on your saddle. You would need to find a quality saddle repair shop and pay about $25 for a replacement d ring. This is why we suggest using the dee saver – it’s a lot less expensive and won’t cause a headache. If anything, keep a pair in the tack box you bring to 3-day events as a backup. Keeping a pair of D-ring savers around sure beats adding a d ring to a saddle 20 minutes before you run cross country!
Ingredients
Our dee saver is made of sturdy nylon that connects to your saddles stirrup bars. The Saddle D Ring Saver leather is high quality with double stitching connecting the D-ring saver to the nylon and D. High-quality brass holds your breastplate or training aids in place. ACTUAL D Saver you receive may look slightly different than the images – we receive these from multiple suppliers – rest assured though, your D Savers will be high quality.
Essential Equipment For Your “Save A Ride” Box
Every team of riders should have one… a “save a ride” box. It should have an assortment of stuff that is frequently lost or broken. We get the idea from the all-important “save a dive” box you’re familiar with for recreational scuba diving. In that box, things like a rubber o ring can literally save you from not diving. In Equestrian sports, especially eventing, having a “save a ride” box can mean the difference between riding and scratching.
