What is the Core Rechargeable Battery?
The Core rechargeable battery is an economical option especially suitable for frequent use. When the lamp is turned on, it performs the same as with standard batteries in terms of lumens and distance. However, during use of the lamp, the management of available energy varies depending on battery choice: rechargeable or standard.
- With the CORE battery, the brightness stays generally constant over the entire rated burn time.
- With standard batteries, brightness gradually decreases as the batteries drain.
Using the rechargeable option not only protects your wallet but the environment as well. These are available for your Petzl Tikkina Headlamp straight from the manufacturer.
Tips for Protecting Your Equipment:
Optimize the life of rechargeable batteries.
- Completely charge a battery before first use.
- Do not submerge a rechargeable battery in water.
- After use in a wet environment, remove the rechargeable batteries and let them air-dry away from UV (ultraviolet rays). Avoid proximity to heat sources such as direct sunlight, wood fires, or a radiator.
- Finally, remove the batteries for long-term storage of the lamp. Store the batteries in a dry, well-ventilated area, out of direct sunlight.
