MDC Aluminum Sure-Grip Stirrup Pads

MDC Stirrups come with their signature wide stirrup pad made of aluminum. These MDC aluminum sure-grip stirrup pads are the optional traditional / standard width pad for the MDC Stirrup line of products. These are NOT going to fit your stirrups if they are not MDCs.

• Serrated edges removed on one side to avoid damaging your stirrup leathers
• Aluminum
• Grippy design that won’t hold your foot during a fall like cheese grater pads
• Easy to swap wide foot pad for these traditional treads with a set of allen keys
• Will NOT work on Non – MDC stirrups
• 2 Pin and 4 Pin assembly – 4 pin is the latest model

The Difference Between 2 Pin and 4 Pin

MDC Stirrups are always being improved, with new models coming out every year. The latest edition has been the MDC S Flex and the MDC S Classic. The traditional width stirrup pads have also changed to allow easier replacement. If purchased your MDC Stirrups at least a year ago, you’re probably using the 2 pin pad type. If your purchase was made very recently, you might have the 4 pin pad type. Either way, if you want to convert your wide stirrups to traditional width, we can help you.
