Under Jump Boots Or XC Boots
Tendon grip is great at protecting your horse from rubs when put under a boot. The image above depicts the horse socks under an open front jump boot, the image on the right is tendon grip under a Kentucky XC Boot. We have seen this stuff used the most at the beginning of the season, when horses are recently shaved. An alternative, actually more expensive product is TubiGrip or EquiFit HorseSox. The benefit to TubiGrip is that it comes in different diameters. We find this useful to fit the horse socks better on the front or hind legs. Kentucky Horsewear’s product works just fine on the fronts and hind legs, though.
