Jacks Soaking Boot

Jacks Soaking Boot is a large rubber boot for soaking a horse leg. Fill the boot with ice water, Epsom salts and / or Sore No More to provide full leg hydrotherapy from the hoof to above the knee. This product variation does NOT have the compressor or boot hoses. This is a single boot and not a pair of soaking boots (buy two for a pair). Selling just a single soaking boot is by popular demand, not everyone wants a full set of whirlpool boots. Reduces Swelling and Aids in Injury Recovery

Unlike other equine hydrotherapy systems, you get a full 360 degree aeration from the hoof to the knee – and the boots are adjustable due to their soft material so you can focus on just the hoof if you wanted to. When filled with cold / ice water for equine cold therapy, the boots cause vasoconstriction which is the narrowing of the blood vessels, particularly the large arteries and small arterioles. It’s the narrowing that reduces inflammation and helps to remove pain from an injured area – like front legs after cross country.  The cold also decreases fluid that may leak from local capillaries, thereby limiting edema in the traumatized tissues.

The boot itself is made of a soft yet sturdy vinyl material that will last for years.

Jacks soaking boots are typically filled up with ice water but we have seen them being filled up with warm water and water-soluble medications.

Jacks boots come in a set of two with or without the compressor. Use them together or individually.
