Custom made horseshoe shelf brackets using your own horseshoes or ours! Equip your tack room or home with a set of horseshoe bracket to hold up shelving. We can use your used horseshoes or select from our collection of US made steel shoes… YES, we use REAL horseshoes for the look, durability and because it’s just better. Choose Your Shoes Then Choose Your Finish

We offer several different types of shoes for your horseshoe bracket project. Brands will very from Diamond to Kerckhaert American steel but are all made with high carbon steel. If you need a specific size and don’t see it listed, let us know in the note section and we’ll do our best to source it for you. You can also provide your own shoes. If you’re ordering multiple horseshoe brackets, we’ll be sure they all match.

Use your own shoes

We’ll use your used horse shoes to make horseshoe shelf brackets! Simply select the shoe type “My Shoes” from the options below, along with all the other options. As of now, we’re only able to weld steel, not aluminum.  After you checkout, we’ll provide you a prepaid USPS label to get the shoes over here. Once here, your shoes will be cleaned and finished based on your specifications. They will then be shipped back to you. Shipping is via USPS 2-3 day mail. Manufacturing on our end takes about a week. Overall, please allow at least 2 weeks from beginning to end.

Pony Size

For small shelves, we off pony sized horseshoes. They’re punched for slim or race nails but can be drilled for a regular screw or anchor.

Horse Size

These horseshoes are “standard” sized, our most popular horseshoe for building shelving. They’re punched for City Head or Slim nails or can be drilled out for you to allow for regular screw, anchor installation.

Draft / WB Size

Draft Horseshoes are a size 6 that measure 1/2” thick by 1” wide. Elongated heels are designed to be turned down for extra traction or cut to fit hoof. For our purposes, we do not cut these shoes, we leave them intact making these our longest shoes for the largest shelving. These horseshoes are punched for 9 Regular nails or we can drill them out for regular screws /anchors.

Choose Your Finish

We can finish your horseshoe brackets in multiple ways. Each option is displayed with its cost in the drop down menus. All painted or powder coating starts with a wire brush finish for best results.

No Finish

Literally, nothing. We’ll just ship when we’re done welding. This is a great option for the most rustic of projects or if you plan on finishing yourself.

Wire Wheel

After welding, we’ll put your shoes to the wheel. They turn out with highly polished steel. For those using their own shoes, you will find the white wheel reveals tons of “character” in the metal – all kinds of scratches, dents and wear areas that were hardly visible before.

Paint

We’ll first wire wheel then apply a metal primer. After that, choose from any metal paint color available.

Powder Coating

For a small fee we’re able to powder coat your horseshoe shelving brackets. We’ll sandblast the shoes then apply any color powder coating you prefer. Great for durability and for looks.
