Hit Air Equestrian Saddle Strap

The Hit Air Equestrian Saddle Strap is sold separately from the air vest. You can use your own saddle strap / grab strap too but be sure it’s tough enough to withstand the amount of force applied to it during a fall. These air vest saddle straps come in three different sizes – small: 16.7″ (Red) medium: 18.7″ (Grey) & large: 20.6″ (Blue). The size you need depends on the distance from stirrup bar to stirrup bar, across your saddle’s pommel. Medium and red are the average color and size. Be sure to connect the saddle strap for the vest to the stirrup bars, NOT the d-rings. You will rip the d-rings off your saddle if you connect the saddle strap to the d-rings.

This picture depicts the medium sized saddle strap. The inside length measures 18.7 inches / 47.5cm. You will find that if you use your own saddle strap or if you choose to purchase a Hit-Air saddle strap, you’ll be connecting your Hit-Air vest the same way…

1. Pass the loop of the coiled wire (included with your vest) through the center loop of the Hit Air Equestrian Saddle Strap (or your grab strap).
2. Pass the other end of the coiled wire through its loop.
3. Pull the coiled wire until its loop tightly fastens to the Hit Air saddle strap (or your grab strap).
4. You’re good to go!
