Hit Air Tool Kit

Hit Air toolkit to replace air cartridges. This two-part kit includes the Allen wrench and screw/bolt that are used to lock the spring/firing pin back on your vest. Once the spring is pushed back, you can install a new air cartridge and use the ball piece, release the tension on the spring using this toolset. With the tension released and safety off, your Hit-Air vest will be ready to use again.

CO2 Cartridges

The Hit Air equestrian vest comes with multiple pieces. The air vest cartridges are available from 30cc to 100cc. They’re color-coded and have the CC (cubic centimeter) capacity written on them. You can also find the CC requirement of your vest printed on the inside of the area that the cartridge screws in.

Saddle Strap

The saddle strap for Hit Air vests connects across the pommel of the saddle, from stirrup bar to stirrup bar. They are a tough material that won’t break – unlike a leather grab strap that may break under the pressure of a fall. You don’t want to connect the Hit Air saddle strap to your D-rings – those will rip off, causing damage to your saddle + the vest may not deploy.

Buckle Extender

Occasionally, we find riders who find the deployed vest too snug when combined with their required cross country safety vest. For those riders, we’re able to extend the buckles by adding the Hit Air vest buckle extender.

Buckle Type Key Ball Set

The key ball set fits into the air vest, holding the firing spring. Use the tools to relieve pressure on this piece so you can replace the cartridge.
