Helmet Rubber Band Material

Rubber for the bands is sourced from a company in China called Kaifeng Jiuhong Chemical Co. Their rubber factory is located in Kaifeng City, Henan Province. The facility has about 100 employees. The factory sources its raw rubber mostly from Thailand or its other major trading partner, Sri Lanka. The factory sells its finished rubber all over the world, shipping out of the Lianyungang, Qingdao port. Their finished rubber costs about $1,000 per ton + the cost of turning the material into helmet rubber bands. If you want a cheap rubber band, you can get them for about 3 cents… you just have to purchase 38,000 of them and ship them to the US. You will probably have to pay customs (a tribute to our Government) and a broker, too.
