Ecogold Dressage Boots For Schooling
The new FEI rules for Eventing gear does not specifically ban the use of dressage boots in competition but… Per the 2013 Rules for Eventing, “… any type of boots or leg bandages… are, under penalty of elimination, strictly forbidden. This dressage rule can be found in section EV115 (Saddlery), paragraph 2 (dressage test), sub section 2/e.
Based on the generally accepted tradition and roles, you can’t take these exercise boots in the dressage court with you at a 3-Day but you can use them to survive the warm up or use them as dressage schooling boots at home. They help prevent rubs and in the warm up and help keep your horses legs clean.

Mary Tompkins –
I love these boots. They are everything they are cracked up to be. They are light weight, thin, but provide protection. Here in the south I worry about too much heat on my horse’s legs during summer workout. These boots keep the legs much dryer than others I have tried and they really do not feel wet when you take them off, even with temps in the 90s. They wear well and wash up (in my washing machine) beautifully (mine are still white after a year of use). I just ordered a new set for another horse of mine.
