Product Description

Dr. Cook’s Beta Bitless Bridle

Dr. Cook’s Beta Bitless Bridle by Robert Cook and PHS saddlery. The beta bitless bridle made from Genuine Biothane USA, provides the closest looking synthetic leather without the leather care regimen; clean with a damp cloth, warm water, and soap. Parts are 5/8″ wide with a slightly grainy surface and low-sheen for the leather-like appearance. The nylon core and vinyl coating make this english bitless bridle extremely durable, easy to clean, and allows it to remain soft and supple. Dr. Cook’s beta bitless bridle can be used in freezing weather without fear of becoming brittle over time. Able to be disinfected with 10% bleach solution or another disinfectant.

The genuine BioThane maintains its color, prevents mold or mildew, does not absorb odors, and can wipe clean easily. Stainless steel hardware and roller buckles finish the look for an easy-to-use and adjustable bitless horse bridle option. Extremely adjustable pieces to allow for optimal fit on your horse.

Available in 3 colors: brown, black, and chestnut. Available in 4 sizes: Miniature, Small, Medium, and Large. Does not include reins so try our ThinLine reins to complete the style.

Medium – Average horse

Large- Warmbloods and larger Thoroughbreds

NOTE: These bridles provide plenty of room for adjustment to ensure the bridle will fit correctly; proper fit is important. Use the below chart to get a better idea of the correct size for your horse.

How to measure

Noseband: From the corner of the horse’s mouth, measure 1 1/2 to 2 inches up. Then, measure the circumference around the horse’s nose.

Headstall: From the corner of the horse’s mouth, measure 1 1/2 to 2 inches up. Use tape measure from this point to the very top of the poll (the area between your horse’s ears, on the top of their head). Double this number. This determines the headstall size.
