Product Description
Double Ended Brass Snaps
The uses of a brass snap around a Three Day Eventing facility (or any barn/home/car) are endless. On the road, hang your water buckets in a temp stall, secure your horse stall guard, hang feeders. At home, use the double ended snap to secure gate latches, add an eye hook and hang cross ties. Use on the road to secure the latches on your horse trailer. Try fixing a busted button on your breeches (just hook your front belt loops together and finish the day), or if you forgot your belt snapping a couple belt loops together can keep you from giving a free show to your fellow competitors. Fixing a longe line or lead rope if the snap breaks, trailer ties, making a nifty quick twitch out of some baling twine and a snap etc.
Double ended snaps are a staple in the barn Macgyver kit. You will always need more than one and never have enough, don’t be without a collection of brass snaps.

Failure and Replacement
Brass snaps are only rated to 100lbs and the little thumb depressors and/or the springs inside can and will break within about 6 months of regular use. While a $4 solution is great, we suggest you check out the $10 – $20 Petzl carabiners we carry. They will last forever and you can even hang on them!
